One of the first questions I get every morning is “Which drills did you get today?” My two 11-year-old daughters are 15 days into their first challenge, and I am tagging along too. Here’s how it’s going so far. All three of us have completed our drills for all 15 days. Even on days with practices, games, schoolwork, crazy days at work, and being sick. We’re tied on the leaderboard right now, and no one wants to fall behind.
Our challenge has five drills in total, including a fitness drill, juggling, wall passing, and two ball mastery drills. The variety is nice, keeping the training from becoming monotonous and polishing skills across different areas. All of the drills can be done inside, and only the juggling drill becomes a little sketchy when done in the vicinity of our lamps.

I set up the challenge to deliver 2 random drills a day, totaling about 15-20 minutes of work. If we get the same drills, we’ll do them together. We share motivational content in the app’s messaging system, and I wonder if they’ll ever ask me to stop sending them Jocko, Tom Brady, and Nick Saban videos.
Depending on the drills, it’s about 1000 touches a day, so 15,000 extra touches so far. If they trained in RepWolf for half of the year, that’s 182,000 extra touches. I’m not a sports scientist, but I think 182,000 additional touches will probably improve their skills.
We have six days left in our challenge, and after that, we’ll take a short break before I put together a fresh challenge with new drills. It’s been fun to get their feedback, observe what they like, and watch them grow.
